In this unit i learned that the native Americans can adapt to their enviorment  by using the reasources around them. I also learned that that Culumbus  did not land in America first the native were already their. Culumbus also took land and instead of helping out the natives  he slaved them to find gold and other things, and if they did not obey him then he would kill them and or torture. When he inslaved them he took there kids and did not give them back and would sell them. Some thing else i learned in unit 1 is the 13 colonies, james town, the french war the southern, niddle, and north colonies. thos is what i learned in unit 1.
